Our diet program is presented in an easy to understand, two- part series. Both seminars are taught by Debbie Latham, RD,LD, Diabetes Educator; and a certificate of completion is awarded at the conclusion of each seminar.
In this self-paced seminar, Debbie teaches the role of carbohydrates in the diet and the key to controlling blood glucose levels and triglycerides.

Activity Plan: After completing the seminar, keep food records for one week and follow up with a diet consultation for Debbie to review your carbohydrate intake level, blood sugars (when appropriate), weight, and make necessary changes to your meal plan.

In this self-paced seminar, Debbie teaches the basic principles of a low-fat, heart-healthy diet. Participants will receive lists of low-fat food choices as well as a 4 week step by step plan to Heart Healthy Eating.
This seminar is a MUST for anyone with diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure or individuals just needing to lose weight.
For persons with diabetes, we recommend you take the Carbohydrate-Glucose Connection Seminar before taking this course.
